Company Policies
Health & Safety
RDF Group is committed to complying with all relevant health and safety regulations
governing the UK construction industry and providing a safe working environment
for our employees, sub-contractors, clients and the general public.
We are dedicated to continually improving our health and safety performance and
our Health & Safety Plan is revised periodically to reflect industry best practice
and changing legislation. To demonstrate the importance we place on health and safety,
our Managing Director, Robert Webb takes an active role in all health and safety
matters and assumes overall responsibility for the implementation of our Health
& Safety Plan.
To ensure we are aware of the latest developments within the industry and our Health
& Safety Plan is implemented effectively throughout the Group, we employ the services
of The Health and Safety People, one of the UK’s most respected consultants.
In accordance with Government legislation, risk assessments and method statements
are made readily available for every project. Our site operatives are CSCS accredited
and all members of our project teams are issued with the relevant PPE equipment
and fully trained to use the equipment necessary for their work.
We also hold on-site health and safety induction meetings for our operatives and
sub-contractors and regular ‘tool box talks’ to ensure our Health & Safety Plan
is implemented where it matters most.
RDF Group is a registered member of CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment
Scheme), SAFEcontractor and Constructionline.
